Volker Mießeler honours Siewert & Kau Technologies as a strong employer in Bergheim
On 18 August 2025, the Mayor of Bergheim, Volker Mießeler, visited Siewert & Kau Technologies at its headquarters in Bergheim. The occasion was the official opening of the company on 11 August 2025 and the associated significance as an important employer in the region. In a personal meeting, the mayor learnt about the current company situation, the strategic realignment and planned investments in the site.
Siewert & Kau Technologies can draw on over 30 years of experience in the IT channel. After a challenging phase, managing directors Oliver Kau and Björn Siewert, with the help of two investors, have succeeded in retaining 110 jobs and future-proofing the Bergheim site. The company thus remains a reliable and important part of the regional economic landscape – with clear prospects for growth and long-term partnerships. The new corporate structure allows the company to react more quickly to market changes, drive innovation and expand its range of services in a targeted manner.
The mayor recognised this commitment and emphasised the importance of Siewert & Kau Technologies for Bergheim as a business location. He emphasised that the company not only secures jobs, but also provides new impetus with its innovative strength, regional ties and many years of market knowledge. In particular, the combination of tradition, modern thinking and close customer contact is a strong foundation for future success.
